Maitland Drewery

♦ Maitland Drewery was founded by Jock Maitland and started operations in May1959 as Maitland Air Charters with pleasure flights and air taxi services around the south east of England. The carrier was renamed in early 1960 when Mr Drewey joined the company. I.T. and charters were soon started with Vickers Viscount and Vickers Viking aircraft. The airline ceased operations in Aug1960 and company was officially dissolved in Dec1960 ♦
