Global♦ Global Airlines, founded by was created by James Asquith, the founder of online travel company Holiday Swap on 13Jul2019. On 29May2023, Global Airlines announced it has acquired its first Airbus A380. Global Airlines’ first transatlantic flights were expected by Spring 2024 but the carrier delayed its launch to late 2024 and once again to 15May2025 and suceeded this time with demo flights. Their sole A380 was placed into long-term storage in France in Jul2025. ♦
