The biggest airline in this region to date is American Airlines ( USA ) currently operating a fleet of 951 aircraft. Created in 1934 from a meger, this airline is now running an average of 6700 flights per day. Operating from 10 different hubs, these flights cover nearly 350 destinations in 50 countries around the world.

The second largest airline in Americas is Delta Airlines ( USA ) with 867 aircraft. Starting passenger services in 1929, Delta airlines now runs on average 5400 flights per day.

The third largest airline in americas is Southwest Airlines ( USA ) with 736 aircraft. Southwest Airlines started operations in 1971 and is now running on average 4000 flights per day.
