♦ Falcks Flyvetjeneste began ambulance, newspaper delivery and charter operations in 1947 and is a subsidiary of the Danish salvage company Falcks Redningskorpset. In addition to ambulance flights, the company also began flying domestic flights. On 21Feb1969, the Air Service was sold to Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller (this was the beginning of Maersk Air). In 1974 they re-established their airline, which was named Falck Air ♦
