♦ Air Scorpion was officially registered in Ukraine and secured its operating license in 1997. The company operated a very small, fluid fleet of Soviet-legacy regional turboprops and utility aircraft. Facing the extreme economic headwinds of the late-90s post-Soviet recession and unable to scale its business model against larger consolidating domestic carriers, Air Scorpion officially ceased all operations and quietly dissolved its corporate structure in 1999 ♦
