♦ North Wind Airlines was originally established in 2009 as an Estonian subsidiary of Lithuania’s flyLAL Charters (part of the Avia Solutions Group). It acted as a leisure charter operator out of Tallinn. On 22/Jul/2010, the parent company rebranded its entire Baltic network, and FlyLAL Charters Estonia was renamed Small Planet Airlines Estonia. In early 2012, Avia Solutions Group decided to pull out of the small Estonian charter market to focus on high-volume European regions. They sold their 95.5% controlling stake in the Estonian branch to local investment firm Brova Air OU, which immediately rebranded the company to North Wind Airlines. The company officially ceased all operations later in 2012 and was subsequently dissolved, marking the end of that specific Estonian charter pipeline ♦
