♦ K2 Airways was founded in Jun2017 and was granted an Operator’s Licence by the Pakistani government allowing it to proceed with its AOC certification. K2 Airways, had its operator’s licence extended in Oct2021. After a change of plans, K2 Airways switched to freight-only operations and received its first B.737-400(BDSF) in Jun2024. K2 Airways, on 28Dec2023, commenced its domestic cargo flight operation and the first cargo flight was operated between Karachi and Lahore. On the night of 07Jul2026, K2 Airways suffered a fatal tragedy that halted the company’s operations
