– [Tatarstan Airlines was formed as a section of the former Aeroflot Aerovolga division in 1993 and started operating the same year. It was renamed to Tatarstan/Kazan Air Enterprise in 1997 and to present name in 1999. Tatarstan Air started operations on 30Jun1999. The airline’s operating license was revoked on 31Dec2013 after a serious accident on 17Nov2013 and its aircraft were transferred to Ak Bars Aero
