SAT-Air

SAT-Air was formed in 1983 and was a cargo contractor for UPS in the 1980/1990s
[ – Merlin Airways was founded as SAT-Air in San Antonio. The airline was established in 1983 as a UPS feeder and operated as a cargo carrier until Jun1995. It was then found fit by the United States Department of Transportation to conduct commuter operations under FAR Part 121. Passenger operations ceased in 1999. The company was purchased by Corporate Air of Billings, Montana in 2000 which is when the name was changed from Merlin Express to Merlin Airways
