ZagrosJet

♦ Zagrosjet takes its name from the Zagros Mountains. It was established in Oct2005 by Zagros Group under the name Zagros Air but did not start operations. The carrier, a joint venture between Turkey’s Atlasjet Airlines (KK, Antalya) and Northern Iraqi consortium Zagros Group the airline changed its name to Zagrosjet in Aug2013, said the move was to avoid being confused with Zagros Airlines (Iran). The carrier ceased operations on 30Mar2018, after Iraq’s Government banned international services to and from Iraqi Kurdistan in Sep2017.
