Star XL German Airlines was founded by Avion Group from Iceland and received its AOC on 03May2006 with operations starting on 04May2006. On 30Oct2006, the Avion leisure business was bought out and re-organized as XL Leisure Group, resulting in the airline changing its name to XL Airways Germany on 06Dec2012. Suspended services on 14Dec2012. The company filed for bankruptcy on 27Dec2012 & officially closed on 03Jan2013
~ Holiday charter airline which operated services on behalf of Rewe Touristik Group, Öger Tours and other tour operators to major resort areas in Europe and the Mediterranean. Ad hoc charter flight were also undertaken
