Wrangell Air Service

♦  Wrangell Air Service was founded by Dan Baldwin in Wrangell, Alaska in 1978. The logging camps requested Dan to provide flight service assistance to them, and Wrangell Air Service was born. Wrangell Air Service continued to operate until Dan sold the business to Ketchikan Air Service

[ – Taquan Air was established as Taquan Air Service in Aug1977, and started out flying an air taxi service between Ketchikan International Airport and Metlakatla on Annette Island. Taquan Air acquired the Alaskan assets of Promech in 2016 and Ketchikan Air in Apr2000. Suspended operations after a fatal crash on 13/May/2019. Restarted in Jun2019
