♦ FlyViking was established was founded in 1989 as Lofotfly and renamed Fly Taxi Nord in 2000, operated both cargo and taxi flights. In Nov2015, Ola O.K Giæver (former Wideroe pilot) bought the airline, called it Giaevair and later renamed it FlyViking. Had Viking Air Norway merge in in 2016. Completed its AOC certification with the Norwegian civil aviation authority (Luftfartstilsynet) on 14Feb2017. Started operations on 27Mar2017. The airline ceased operations on 12Jan2018 due to economic reasons
