Travel Service Airlines was formed as a division of the Czech Government Flying Service operating on behalf of Czech tour operators in 1997. Operations started on 30Jun1997. In Oct2017 it was announced that Travel Service plans to change its branding from an Airline to a Holding Company and will move all of its operations under the SmartWings brand In 2018. This has now been delayed until 1Q2019
