Transair

Transair started commercial flights in 1948 on mail flights. Aquired by Airwork in 1958
– [The origin of AIRWORK can be traced back to 1928 when it trained pilots and flew pleasure trips from Heston Aerodrome but also operated at Shoreham and Perth. Ceased flying during the war and recommenced in 1946. Used on Berlin Airlift. Acquired TRANSAIR in 1958. Merged with HUNTING CLAN AIR TRANSPORT and AIR CHARTER to form BUA]
