TPA (Trans Provincial Airlines) was formed in 1960 as Trans Provincial Air Carriers & was acqired by Harbour Air Seaplanes in 1993
– [Harbour Air Seaplanes was founded in 1982 & operations started on 30Jun1982 as Windoak Air Service to provide seaplane charter services for the forestry industry in BC. Canada’s largest seaplane airline out of Vancouver. In 1993, Harbour Air purchased Trans-Provincial Airlines, added charter flights to resorts, and increased scheduled services. On 09May2012 Harbour Air purchased Whistler Airand in Sep2013, Harbour Air launched a land-based charter carrier, Tantalus Air. Salt Spring Air was purchased in Nov2015.
