TIA 2000 was founded in 1982 as Trans Island Air and rebranded as Trans Island Air 2000 in 2000

[ – TIA 2000 was founded in 1982 as Trans Island Air and rebranded as Trans Island Air 2000 in 2000. On 30Jun2004, the only aircraft the airline operated at that time (a Twin Otter 300) was substantially damaged when it veered off the runway at Grantley Adams International Airport during an aborted take-off run. Shortly thereafter, Trans Island Air 2000 was shut down. Restarted in Jun2017. TIA 2000 suspended flight operations as of 18Apr2018 citing a difficult operating environment. It had hoped to restart but it appears that this did not happen
