The carrier then changed its name to Tigerair Australia in In Jul2013. On 25Mar2020, Tigerair suspended all operations as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following Virgin Australian Holdings being placed in administration and later sold, new owner Bain Capital confirmed the brand would be retired
