Taos Air was founded in 2018 and started operations on 20Dec2018. The ongoing pandemic prompted the cancellation of service for the 2020–2021 ski season but flights will resume for the 2021–2022 season. Taos Air will restart its jet service offering nonstop flights to and from Austin–Bergstrom International, Dallas Love Field, Hawthorne Municipal Airport in Los Angeles, and McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad. Services resumed on 01Jul2021
