TABA (Transportes Aereos da Bacia Amazonica) was formed on 01Jan1976 & its services started on 29Apr1976. TABA absorbed NOTA in 1976. Regional and domestic carrier around the Amazon basin. Ceased operating but was reformed by many of the former employees. n 1997 TABA was already in serious economic trouble and finally in 1999 it ceased operations
