Südflug International was founded on 24Nov1952 by the former German fighter pilot and self-made entrepreneur Rul Bückle under the name Süddeutsche Bedarfsflug

[ – Südflug International was one on the airport Stuttgart -based German charter airline and also the first West German airline that was founded after the Second World War. Südflug International was founded on 24/Nov/1952 by the former German fighter pilot and self-made entrepreneur Rul Bückle with an initial capital of 20,000 DM founded under the name Süddeutsche Bedarfsflug. After the establishment of German air transport companies became legally possible in 1955, the aircraft received a West German registration. At about the same time, the company name was changed to Südflug – Süddeutsche Fluggesellschaft. Renamed again. this time to Südflug International. Condor Flugdienst took over the company on 02/Jan/1968 and fully integrated the company in in on 02/Jan/1969 ]

[ – Condor was founded on 21/Dec/1955 as Deutsche Flugdiens and scheduled flight operations were launched on 29/Mar/1956 with a pilgrimage flight to Israel. On 25/Oct/1961, Deutsche Flugdienst took over its rival Condor-Luftreederei (which had been founded in 1957 by the Hamburg-based Oetker concern), subsequently changing its name to Condor Flugdienst. Integrated Südflug in in 3Q1992. In 1998, Condor Berlin was founded as a wholly owned subsidiary with headquarters at Berlin Tegel Airport and was renamed to Thomas Cook powered by Condor on 01/Mar/2003. On 23/Jan/2004, Condor became part of Thomas Cook AG and returned to the Condor brand name. Condor Berlin was integrated into the parent company on 01May2013
