Star Air was established on 01/Sep/1984 by the A.P. Moller Company to operate passenger charter flights. Operations started on 30/Jun/1987 with the purchase of Alkair’s Fokker 27 operation

The new airfreight company is the result of the existing in-house aircraft operator, Star Air, transferring its activities into Maersk Air Cargo. The new carrier started operations on 08 Apr2022
