St. Petersburgh & Tampa Airboat Line was widely regarded as the World’s first scheduled service. Operated btween St. Petersburg and Tampa with first flight on 01Jan1914. The initial flight had Tony Jannus as the pilot and Mayot Phiel was the passenger. He had paid $500. The airline eventually carrier 1,200 passengers at one a flight
