♦ Southeastern Airlines (ii) originally operated as Coastal Air, starting operations in 1975. Renamed to Southeastern Commuter Airlines in 1976 and in the same year dropped the ‘Commuter’. The Atlanta based airline merged into ASA on 01Apr1983

♦ ASA was incorporated on 12/Mar/1979 by George Pickett, John Beiser and Robert Priddy and started operations on 27/Jun/1979. Acquired SOUTHEASTERN AIRLINES in 1983. First operator of Emb-120 Brasilia in 1985. Feeder for Delta Airlines. Merged into ExpressJet ♦
