♦ Shree Airlines was founded by Banwari Lal Mittal and was incorporated in 1999 and was originally called Air Ananya, named after the founder’s granddaughter Ananya Mitta. The carrier was then renamed to Shree Air with a fleet of Mi-17 helicopters. It then diversified into fixed wing operations as Shree Airlines. Shree Airlines has had its fleet grounded by the country’s Civil Aviation Authority, pending engine safety checks on its aircraft after an accident on 09Mar2023 but was allowed to restart
