Captain Rolando started Servicios Aereos Virgen de Copacabana, better known as SAVCO in 1970, started operations the following year using two ex American Airlines Douglas DC6s converted for cargo use. Both aircraft were used mainly to transport beef from the Bolivian lowlands around Beni to Cochabamba. Additional beef charters were carried out to Chili. Captain Rolando sold the company in 1973 to Raul Bedoya, who later added Douglas DC3s and Commandos to the fleet. SAVCO ceased operations in 2001
