RYAN INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES was formed as DE BOER AVIATION in 1972 by Jack P DeBoer (real estate developer) and Ron Ryan. It started as a Part 135 Jet Charter Service in Wichita, Kansas with a Lear 24B on 03Mar1973. Name changed to RYAN AVIATION in 1975 and then to PHH AIR in 1986. Present name adopted in 1989. In the same year RIA purchased the assets of Orion Lift Services which included B727 parts. Ceased operations on 11Jan2013. The airline was to be esurrected as Astrajet but it never started. International and domestic, scheduled and charter, passenger and cargo airline
