Royal Swazi National Airways

Royal Swazi National Airways was founded in 1978 by the government of Swaziland and they informed privately owned airline Swazi Air that it would be required to close down operations by 01/Aug/1978, which was the date that RSNA started. Swaziland Airlink was rebranded from Royal Swazi National Airways in 1999

[ – Swaziland Airlink was formed as a joint venture company between the Swaziland Government (60%) and Airlink (40%) to take over operations from Royal Swazi National Airways Corporation (RSNAC) (1978-1999), the previous flag carrier of Eswatini. Swaziland Airlink started operations in Jul1999. Swaziland Airlink became Eswatini Airlink after the country’s name was changed. Eswatini Airlink ceased operating on 01Jun2022, after both parties mutually agreed to dissolve the 23-year-old joint venture airline
