Ross Aviation was a specialised carrier, the prime function of which was to offer services for the U. S. government’s nuclear scientists. Initially, the company conducted pilot training for the U. S. Army at Fort Rucker, Alabama. The DOE’s contract airline stopped flying to Los Alamos National Laboratory on 30/Sep/1995. Louisiana Aircraft merged into Ross Aviation in 2013. A total of 10,500 passengers are carried prior to the suspension of the company’s unique scheduled service. Ross Aviation merged into Atlantic Aviation (ii) in 2022
