Queen Bilqis Airways

♦ Queen Bilqis Airways is a privately-owned carrier that has been on the drawing boards since 2013. The carrier received certification in Dec2016. It started operations on 24Nov2018 and launched regular commercial flights on 22Dec2018 from the southern government-held port city of Aden to the Jordanian capital Amman. The carrier suspended operations at the end of Apr2020 due to Covid and intended to restart in late 2021. It appears to have restarted in Mar2022. The carrier’s Operatining License was reinstated in Jan2024 after a brief suspension but appears to have again in Sep2024
