Pioneer Airlines (iii)

♦ Pioneer Airways (iii) was formed as Pioneer Airways (iii) in Denver in 1976, and began operations in 1977 with flights from Denver into Wyoming, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The carrier was renamed in 1980. It was associated with Frontier Airlines from 1979 onwards and became a Continental Commuter from 1983 onwards. Pioneer ceased all operations in May1986 after losing its affiliation with Continental Airlines ♦
