PBAir was founded on 21Nov1990 by Piya Bhirom Bhakdi of Boon Rawd Brewery. Bangkok based operator that was founded as a charter carrier and commenced scheduled services in 1999. Boon Rawd Brewery baron Piya Bhirom Bhakdi, who founded the carrier, has called it quits after attempts to find a foreign buyer for the “great little airline” failed. Ceased operations in Nov2009
