Parata Air (Paratha Airlines)

♦ FlyYangYang was founded on 12Apr2016 but renamed to Fly Gangwon after being denied an operating license by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. South Korea MOLIT issued Fly Gangwon an air operator certificate (AOC) for domestic and international air transportation operation on 02Oct2019. Fly Gangwon started operations on 22Nov2019. The carrier suspended its domestic and international flights 19May2023 and filed for bankruptcy. MOLIT suspended Fly Gangwon’s AOC in Jul2023. Fly Gangwon was auctioned off in early 4Q2023. Winix, which completed its acquisition of Fly Gangwon in Jul2024, has changed its name to Parata Air (blue’ in Korean, which means the colour of clear sky)
