♦ Ed LaClaire and his wife Lucille formed Nipawin Air Services Ltd. in 1961. The carrier was renamed to Osprey Wings (same owner). Osprey Wings had two divisions, IFR and VFR. Garry Thompson had the VFR division on floats and skis (that was what evolved from Nipawin) and had Osprey VFR supporting Thompson’s camps, other fishing lodge activities and exploration activities. In 2015, only the IFR division was sold to West Wind. Osprey Wings ceased operations in late 2022 but was restarted after new owners came in
