Nesma Airlines, a member of Saudi Arabia’s Nesma Group, a carrier in the Arabic Republic of Egypt, officially took to the skies in Jun2007. The carrier retired its sole A319 and suspended operations in Dec2021 and hoped to restart in 2022 for Umrah (Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca). Now that the expected change in ownership appears to be imminent, Nesma Airlines is aiming for a summer 2022 restart
