NAYSA (Navegacion y Servicios Aéreos Canarios) was formed as NAYSA (Navegacion y Servicios Aereos) at Cordoba by Alfonso Carrero in 1969 and started operations on 07May1969. The Canarios was added when the company changed hands and relocated to Las Palmas in 1973. All NAYSA aircraft were operated under a franchise agreement as Binter Canarias into which it has been merged in spring 2018

[ – Binter Canarias was established as a subsiduary of Iberia on 18Feb1988 and started operations on 26Mar1989. In spring 2018, Binter merged Navegacion y Servicios Aéreos Canarios (NAYSA) into its own operations and also handed back NAYSA’s air operator certificate
