Mayflower Airlines began service on 04Apr1936 between Boston and Nantucket using two Stinson Model U aircraft purchased from American Airlines. Service expanded to include Provincetown, Hyannis, Oak Bluffs, Providence, New Bedford and Falmouth. Mayflower was acquired by Northeast Airlines on 05Jan1945
