Little Red was a domestic airline set up by Virgin Atlantic. Sir Richard Branson’s new venture took to the skies in 2013, flying from Heathrow to Manchester, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. It used landing slots at Heathrow that were offloaded by BA at the behest of competition authorities following the national carrier’s takeover of BM. Little Red ceased operations on 26Sep2015
