Lincoln Airlines began Port Lincoln to Adelaide services in 1987
[ – Augusta Airways was registered on 22Sep1983. Took over the assets and routes of Brennan Aviation in 1983 and had Lincoln Airlines merge in in 1997 when it was renamed to ASA (Airlines of South Australia)

[ – ASA (Airlines of South Australia) (iii) was formed after Augusta Airways purchased Lincoln Airlines and renamed in 1997. Based in Port Augusta and boasted ‘The World’s Longest Mail Run’ in 2000. In Oct2003, Airnorth (based in Darwin, Northern Territory) purchased both Airlines of South Australia and Emu Airways (another small regional airline, based in Adelaide, operating from Adelaide to Kingscote) and merged the three companies into a single business entity called RegionalLink owned by aviation services company Capiteq Group. The participating airlines continued to trade in their local markets under their own names. On 31Oct2005 Capiteq Limited, the parent company of Airlines of South Australia and Emu Airways, announced its intention that both airlines would cease operations effective 09Nov2005
