LAB (Lloyd Aereo Boliviano) was founded by Guillermo Kyllmann on 15Sep1925. Started operations on 23Sep1925. On 30Mar2007, it was decided by the Bolivian government to shut down Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano, which meant that effective on 01Apr2007, all flight operations were suspended (One of the oldest airlines in the world. Established by German residents with the support of the Bolivian Government. The airline was nationalised in 1941 after remaining under German inluence since the onset. On 29May1965, the routes and equipment, including the sole remaining Commando, of CBF (Corporacion Boliviana de Fomento) were transferred to LAB (Lloyd Aereo Boliviano) by government decree. LAB operated a limited number of charter flights during late 2007 and early 2008 on behalf of AeroSur, but has since fully gone out of business, with its airline license officially been revoked in 2010
