South African regulators have on 13Mar2022 indefinitely suspended the Air Operator Certificates (AOC) of Comair and its subsidiary Kulula after discovering several serious safety issues in the airline’s operations. The carrier resumed operations on 17Mar2021. Comair and its low cost subsidiary Kulula.com suspended operations as of 31May2022. Comair will be liquidated as the airline could not secure the necessary capital to recommence operations ♦
