[ – Kalstar Aviation was founded as Kalstar Tour-Travel Co. in Samarinda in Dec1993 by Andi Masyhur. It was renamed Kalstar Aviation in 2000. Since Nov2007 KalStar Aviation officially became a scheduled airline. The airline ceased operations on 30Sep2017 because the Transportation Ministry quoted a need for improving its management in technical and finance matters. KalStar Aviation had hoped to restart but unfortunately this did not happen
