JAT (Jugoslovenski Aerotransport) had Trans Adria merge in in 1982. JAT Yugoslav Airlines changed their name to Jat Airways on 08Aug2003

[ – Air Serbia was founded as Aeroput on 17/Jun/1927. After resuming flights in 1947, the airline was renamed JAT (Jugoslovenski Aerotransport) on 01Apr1947. In 2004, Belgrade based Intair Link Airlines was merged into Jat, one year after Intair Link had begun service. Air Yugoslavia merged in in 2005. On 01Aug2013, the Government of Serbia and Etihad Airways entered into an agreement that reorganized the operations of Jat Airways, and renamed it Air Serbia. The carrier launched its inaugural flight from Belgrade to Abu Dhabi on 26Oct2013
