Hazelton Airlines was founded in 1953 by Max Hazelton and his brother Jim as an air taxi operator as Hazleton Air Services. Merged with Kendell Airlines to form REX

On 30Nov2005, Rex announced the acquisition of the Dubbo-based Air Link, another regional airline that continues under its own name
