French Blue was the name of Air Caraïbes new long-haul carrier that was established in 2016 by Groupe Dubreuil. The first flight to Punta Cana started on 10Sep2016 & it operated some long-haul flights on behalf of Air Caraïbes as from 01Jul2016. Low-cost long-haul airline French Blue had to change its name into French Bee to avoid a lawsuit of American low-cost airline JetBlue.
