Flyest was formed in 2017 as a subsidiary of Spanish carrier Air Nostrum, having acquired the air operator’s certificate of former Argentine carrier, SOL. Flyest filed the bankruptcy request on 21Oct2020, as its operation became unsustainable after more than seven months on the ground due to government restrictions and the lack of prospects. The drastic lockdown of Argentina and related travel restrictions meant it ceased operations in Oct2020
