♦ Ede-Aire was founded as an FBO by E.G.D. Domich around 1960, in Detroit Lakes, Michigan. Acquired by Mesaba Airlines ♦
♦ Mesaba Airlines, founded in 1944 as Mesaba Aviation, which commenced operations in the same year. Scheduled services started in 1973. Mesaba Aviation was purchased by the Swenson family in 1978 and renamed to current name. Ede-Aire was purchased in 1978. Conquest Airlines was acquired in 1984 and converted to jets and renamed to Airtran (later to be sold off). Mesaba Airlines effectively ceased operations on 04Jan2012, when all aircraft and personnel were transitioned to the Pinnacle Airlines operating certificate ♦
