♦ Eastar Jet was established by major shareholder Eastar Group on 26Oct2007. It inaugurated its first domestic service, Seoul to Jeju, on 07Jan2009 and launched international services on 24Dec2009, with a flight from Incheon to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia. South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) reportedly suspended Eastar Jet’s air operator’s certificate (AOC) on 23May2020, due to the LCC’s suspension of operations for more than 60 days. The carrier restarted operations on 26Mar2023
