Duo Airways was established on de-merger of the TPL Group, (Brymon Aviation and Birmingham European Airlines) as Maersk Air (UK). Maersk took over the former BEA operations, while its co-owner, British Airways, took over the ex-Brymon operations. The airline was sold through a management buyout to become Duo Airways in 2003. Duo Airways went into administration on 01May2004
