Darwin Airline was formed on 12Aug2003 & started operations on 28Jul2004
– [Adria Airways Switzerland was formed on 12Aug2003 as Darwin Airline & started operations on 28Jul2004. Acquired Geneva-based Baboo Airlines on 25Nov2010 & phased out the name in late 2011. Operated in the Etihad Regional livery as from 17Jan2014 for the first time. Darwin Airline was acquired by Adria Airways’ holding company from Etihad Airways in Jul2017 & rebranded as Adria Airways Switzerland on 16Sep2017. The airline’s operating licence was suspended on 28Nov2017 by the Swiss authorities and all remaining flights are no longer operating until further notice
